5. Our review process
When we receive a notice, we may:
(a) acknowledge receipt and request additional information if needed;
(b) assess whether the notice appears sufficiently precise and credible to investigate;
(c) consider whether to remove, disable access to, or restrict the relevant material, either temporarily during investigation or permanently;
(d) take steps to preserve information where appropriate for compliance, dispute handling and prevention of abuse;
(e) consider any applicable legal obligations or constraints, including the rights of other parties.
We may prioritise notices that indicate an immediate risk of harm or clear illegality.
6. Contacting the affected party
Where appropriate and lawful, we may contact the person who supplied or is responsible for the material and provide them with a summary of the notice (and, where appropriate, a copy). We may also request their response or supporting information.
We may disclose information from your notice to the affected party where we consider it necessary to address the complaint or comply with law.
8. Repeat notices and misuse
You must not submit notices that are knowingly false, misleading, abusive, or submitted in bad faith. We may reject notices that are incomplete, unclear, repetitive without new information, or appear to be an attempt to harass or censor others.
We may take steps to prevent abuse of this process, including restricting submissions from repeat bad-faith reporters and, where appropriate, taking legal action.
9. Timeframes
We aim to review notices within a reasonable time, but we do not guarantee any specific timeframe. The time required may depend on the complexity of the matter, the quality of information provided, and whether we need input from other parties or service providers.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting an updated version on the Site. The version in force is the version available on the Site at the time you submit a notice.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Policy and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Policy or its subject matter.
